Aanii M’Chigeeng!

Spring is definitely in the air at Lakeview School!
The students are excited that they can access the playground equipment again!
The students continue to enhance their learning everyday.

The last day of March, each class participated in an Anishinaabemowin scavenger hunt in celebration of Indigenous Languages Day.
Classes enjoyed a visit from the Easter Bunny! Miigwech for the great treats for the students!

All classes had the opportunity to enjoy presentations from Turtle Concepts developing awareness of the importance to be in control of our own actions and to accept others. Students participated in different activities and really enjoyed what Turtle Concepts had to share.

Lakeview will continue hosting various Spirit Days! It was great seeing some Super Hero students and staff participating in our Super Hero Day! Every Friday will be Hat Day until the end of the school year!

All students continue to enjoy the new breakfast and lunch program. A menu is planned each week and shared with families.

We hope that everyone will do their part to assist Mother Earth in celebration of Earth Day by collecting garbage and making efforts to sustain our natural environments.

Naahaw, mii si wi!

Miigwech!
