Aanii M’Chigeeng First Nation Community Members,
We are pleased to inform you that the Boil Water Advisory (BWA) that was in effect has now been lifted. It is safe to resume using tap water for all purposes, including drinking.
Over the past several days, we have been closely monitoring our water supply, conducting testing to ensure its safety. The water samples taken have shown zero indicators for both E.coli and Total Coliform counts. These results meet all safety standards, and we have received confirmation from our Environmental Health Officer (EHO), Fraaz, that the water is now safe for consumption.
We want to express our gratitude for your patience and cooperation during the boil water advisory. Your health and safety are of utmost importance to us, and we take water quality seriously. We understand the inconvenience this advisory may have caused and appreciate your understanding.
If you have any questions or concerns about the water quality or the lifting of the Boil Water Advisory please feel free to contact Allen Hare, Water/Wastewater Operator at 705-377-5941 or [email protected].
Once again, Miigwetch for your cooperation during this advisory period and we look forward to continuing to provide you with safe and reliable water services!
