Tenders marked with contents in a sealed envelope will be received up until 12:00 P.M (NOON), FRIDAY June 16, 2023, by the undersigned for Business Development Center Grass Cutting 2022 and 2023 Summer Seasons.

 

Tender Work Description

  1. M’Chigeeng Business Development Center – all four sides of the facility including grass Whipper Snipping in high grass areas surrounding the facility and property perimeter along Hwy 551.
  2. Clean up of debris and other garbage in the grass cut areas and remove any large stones that could possibly injure people, damage vehicles, or damage the main building.

 

Requirements -General Terms and Conditions:

  1. Contractor must register their business with M’Chigeeng First Nation; business By-Law #1-96 prior to submitting Tender. Copy of Business Registration certificate to be provided.
  2. Grass Cutting is to be on an “on call” basis and contractor will be notified within 1 week of need for grass cutting. The HIAH Corp Economic Development office will arrange for this schedule. Office Contacts:

  3. Contractor must be available during workday hours of 8:00 am to 8:00 pm including weekends.
  4. Contractor to have MINIMUM Insurance coverage of $2 Million Commercial General Liability (each occurrence, products and completed operations)
  5. Contractor must provide a copy of their Certificate of Insurance with their bid.
  6. Contractor and employees of contractor must always wear safety equipment (eye protection & work boots) while working on site.

Completed Tender BIDS must include:

  • Grass cutting and Whipper Snipping price per visit.
  • Copy of Certificate of Insurance Certificate
  • Copy of Business Registration certificate with M’Chigeeng First Nation

The lowest or any tender will not necessarily be accepted.
