Grocery Store Supervisor

Position Status: Full-Time Permanent
Salary: $59,384.00 Per Annum
We are seeking an experienced Grocery Store Supervisor who is a passionate leader with a proven record of growing sales and managing retail operations; with demonstrated ability to lead teams, improve productivity to deliver outstanding business results.
Summary of Position
The Store Supervisor reports to and will work in conjunction with HIAH Corp, Business and Economic Development Manager; will provide expertise to assist in the grocery store operations.
Essential Functions
- Responsible for maintaining merchandising and operational standards
- Monitor local competitive environment market & propose unique responses
- Implement policy & procedures
- Training & orientation
- Supervising and coordinating work schedules
- Ensure quality control of product & produce purchasing
- Marketing & promotion and ensuring excellence in customer services to achieve grocery store sales and revenue.
Qualifications & Experience
Minimum
- College Diploma in Business Marketing, Financial Management
- and/or five (5) years retail experience for managing a grocery store
- Knowledge of the culture and customs of the Anishnaabe
- Fluency in Anishinabemowin is an asset or must be willing to learn
- Valid Class G driver’s license
- Work flexible hours
