Re: Application for MFN Business License and Renewal
Attached is the information and the application to begin your new business. As you will see, the current By-Law (West Bay First Nation) is outdated but it is currently under revision to bring it up to a current business norm. It is anticipated the revisions will be completed and accepted in 2022-2023. In the interim, the By-Law No. 1-96 is effective. All MFN registered Business will be kept up to date with the revised requirements and guidelines.
Please complete the following and return to the Administrative Assistant
- Form 1 – Business License
- Form 2 – Business License Application (include your email address)
Once the forms are submitted, they will be forwarded to the HIAH Corp Board for acceptance, upon final acceptance, payment will be requested from you to issue your MFN Business License. The Business Owner gets the original Business License, and a copy goes into their file. The fee for business registration is $50.00 for the year.
For any Businesses renewing their expired Business Certificate licence, you are required to make a payment with Finance Department Janet Debassige in Accounts Receivable.
